Project Description: Blossomwood Elementary was a rebuild of the school previously built in the 1950’s. The new design offers a more modern structure with 36 classrooms, each 835 square feet — 100 square feet larger than the previous school offered. From its early beginnings over fifty years ago, Blossomwood’s curriculum came with high standards and expectations. Over the years Blossomwood’s administration, teachers, and students have strived to uphold the ideals set forth for them by the highly educated community to include the achievement of academic excellence and to establish the foundation for later success in life. Blossomwood was named a Lighthouse School by Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence in 2013. Blossomwood currently serves a diverse population of approximately 575 students in pre-K through sixth grade.
GTEC Services: John Corbell served as the Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing Staff Engineer.
