Project Description: The complex is located at the northeast corner of 5th Avenue and 7th Street in Fayette, Alabama, and consists of six buildings along with a community center. The rehabilitation project included the addition of a picnic pavilion on the southeastern portion of the site, as well as the enclosure of a porch on the community room. GTEC was tasked with evaluating the existing concrete pavement and providing foundation recommendations for the new picnic pavilion.
GTEC Services: Geotechnical Evaluations and Recommendations, including: Concrete cores, hand-auger borings, visual pavement evaluation, test pit excavations, laboratory testing, Report of Pavement Condition Survey and Pavilion Foundation Recommendations, and Report of Pavement Recommendations.
