Project Description: Encore MidCity Apartments is a 244-unit luxury multi-family community located in the MidCity District of Huntsville. This property includes a swimming pool, Bocce Ball court, business center with private offices, group fitness area, private courtyard, pet grooming spa, fitness studio, and ground-level retail spaces. Residents of this complex have convenient access to The Orion Amphitheater, restaurants, shopping, coffee, and various events held at MidCity throughout the year. GTEC was the recipient of the 2023 ABC Excellence in Construction award for the submittal of this project.
GTEC Services: GTEC provided engineering and numerous types of materials testing and inspection services during the project’s construction phase. GTEC provided on-site observations of all earthwork that initially took place for foundation preparation. GTEC then established an on-site laboratory to provide a cost-effective and time-efficient materials testing program. Some of the services provided by GTEC at the Encore site include:
