Project Description: This project is part of Restore Our Roads, consisting of 3.4 miles of a new four-lane divided highway and 1 mile of roadway improvements along North Parkway, to accommodate for this new intersection. The Northern Bypass is designed to be part of the City’s future “loop” road, improving and connecting Research Park Boulevard to Martin Luther King Boulevard, Bob Wade Lane, North Memorial Parkway, Winchester Road, U.S. 72 East, U.S. 431 South, Cecil Ashburn Drive, and South Memorial Parkway.
