Lockheed Martin Missile Assembly Building 4

Project Description: The Lockheed Martin Missile Assembly Building 4 (MAB4) in Courtland, Alabama, officially began operations on October 4, 2021, as a digital factory for hypersonic strike production. Hypersonic strike production is a vital component of effectively intercepting and demolishing enemy hypersonic missiles.

GTEC Services: Lockheed Martin hired GTEC as their third-party testing agency for this important project. GTEC provided engineering and numerous types of materials testing and inspection services during the project’s construction phase. GTEC provided on-site observations of all earthwork that initially took place for foundation preparation. GTEC then performed foundation observations, reinforcing inspections, concrete sampling, laboratory testing, and consulting to Lockheed Martin’s project with a cost-effective and time-efficient testing program.
